Building Brands - MKSE

This individual project focused on understanding how to build and manage a brand that resonates deeply with today’s audiences. For this project, I developed a conceptual brand called MKSE, specialising in sensory products and memorabilia designed to evoke meaningful experiences and memories.

I was inspired by the challenge of crafting a brand identity and narrative that not only reflects the brand’s unique values but also connects emotionally with consumers in an increasingly digital world. Throughout the project, I explored key branding concepts such as organisational culture, brand identity, image, and reputation. I also learned how integrated marketing communications and sustainability contribute to building trust and relevance.

Working through the brand management process, I defined MKSE’s brand values, analysed competitors and identified key stakeholders and brand champions. Using these insights, I developed strategic messaging and storytelling techniques to create a compelling brand narrative. Additionally, I gained practical experience in building an online brand persona through digital channels, aimed at fostering authentic relationships with customers, stakeholders, and the media.

This experience enhanced my ability to translate branding theory into real-world strategy and creative execution, equipping me with a comprehensive toolkit to develop brands that engage and inspire.
