This project is a creative advertising concept series for Banila Co’s Clean It Zero cleansing balm, exploring different ways the product could be positioned through visual storytelling and campaign design. The aim was to move beyond a standard beauty advert and instead create concepts that highlight cleansing as a moment of glow, softness, self-care, and personality.

I created this project by developing multiple campaign directions, each with its own tone, message, and visual identity. Starting with brand research and audience insight, I built out campaign themes, taglines, ad concepts, and supporting visuals to show how Banila Co could appeal to different audiences while staying true to its soft, modern beauty aesthetic.

Cleansing balm
Clean It Zero is a cleansing balm campaign concept created for Banila Co, designed to reimagine makeup removal as more than just a skincare step. The project explores cleansing as a moment of glow, softness, and self-care, using visually driven campaign ideas to position the product as both functional and emotionally comforting. Inspired by Banila Co’s playful yet polished brand identity, the concept combines beauty advertising, skincare storytelling, and modern digital aesthetics.

Foundation campaign
For the foundation campaign the concept was to focused on radiant, skin-first beauty providing a Glow like skin. This advert was designed to position Banila Co foundation as lightweight, breathable, and naturally enhancing, celebrating glow and real skin texture rather than heavy coverage. Inspired by modern K-beauty aesthetics, the concept uses soft lighting, clean beauty visuals, and minimal copy to create a fresh, premium campaign direction.

Creative Takeaway
These projects helped me develop a better understanding of how beauty products can be advertised through both visual identity and emotional messaging. They allowed me to experiment with campaign thinking, product storytelling, and audience-focused design while creating concepts that feel both aesthetically strong and brand relevant.
